Template Format and Structure:

All research data must be entered using SayPro-approved templates in Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv) format.

Templates should include pre-defined columns and standardized headers for fields such as:

Region/Location

Institution Name

Data Collection Date

Data Collector ID

Student Demographics (Age, Gender, Grade, etc.)

Educational Metrics (Literacy Rate, Attendance, Dropout, etc.)

Compliance with SayPro Standards:

Ensure that templates follow SayPro’s data formatting guidelines, including:

Uniform date formats (e.g., YYYY-MM-DD)

Consistent text case and categorization

No merged cells or formula errors

Use of validation rules (dropdown lists, numerical limits, etc.) where required

Document Upload Instructions:

Log into your SayPro account and navigate to the “Documents” or “Research Uploads” section.

Upload the completed template to the designated project or reporting period folder.

Ensure the file is properly named using the format:
Region_ProjectName_DataTemplate_YYYYMMDD.xlsx

Confirm successful upload and verify that the document is accessible and readable on the platform.

Review and Confirmation:

After uploading, review the file for any formatting or data errors flagged by the system.

If corrections are needed, re-upload the revised file promptly.

Notify your team lead or project coordinator once the upload is complete.

Expected Outcome:
