To ensure smooth operations, high service quality, and data-informed decision-making, SayPro employees are assigned specific tasks that align with the organization’s digital performance and user engagement goals. One of the most critical of these tasks is daily web traffic monitoring on the SayPro platform.
SayPro Task: Daily Web Traffic Monitoring
Objective:
To track and record real-time user activity on the SayPro platform in order to identify trends, spot irregularities, and gather insights for continual improvement.
Assigned To:
SayPro Digital Performance & Analytics Team
(Supported by departmental liaisons as needed)
Frequency:
Daily (Monday to Friday), with summary reviews every Friday and monthly rollups.
SayPro Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Live Traffic Dashboards:
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar to observe active users.
- Track peak traffic hours and identify geographic sources of traffic.
- Record Key Daily Metrics:
- Total visits and unique visitors
- Bounce rates and exit pages
- Session duration and page views
- Device and browser usage trends
- Detect Irregular Activity:
- Identify sudden traffic spikes or drops
- Flag suspicious or bot activity
- Monitor referral sources for any anomalies (e.g., unknown or malicious domains)
- Track Key Content Performance:
- Measure traffic to top-performing service pages
- Identify content or pages with declining views
- Note engagement on blogs, articles, or news updates
- Document Observations:
- Maintain a Daily Web Analytics Log with highlights and notes
- Include any observations requiring attention (e.g., unusually high bounce rate on a new service page)
- Report and Escalate:
- Share findings with the SayPro Consumer Behaviour Analysis Research Office
- Escalate any urgent platform or traffic issues to IT/technical teams
- Submit insights for weekly and monthly reporting
